Stunning ceilings


Yesterday evening I attended the Parisapps meetup (organized by Mobile Monday France), an event that took place in the Paris City Hall town hall during which the five best mobile apps dedicated to Paris got featured. It was interesting (have a look at them and at all Paris applications, here if you're interested). What was also interesting was the cocktail they served afterwards stunning ceiling of the ballroom we were in. This is just a small bit, as the whole ceiling (painted by Henri Gervex and Aimé Morot) is 50 meter (164 feet) long!

    What a gorgeous ceiling! I would have found it very difficult to pay any attention to the event that was taking place. My eyes would have been on THAT ceiling!

    Wow! Always wondered what the inside of the Hotel de Ville looks like. Going to add some new Paris apps to my phone too. Already had a couple, one (Taxi G7) a cause de toi—thanks!

    Ceiling is looking such an Gorgeous. It's so pretty and rustic. In a Paris, Some gorgeous home has a dramatic entry with stunning ceilings.

    I was at Hotel d'Ville yesterday also,but for the awesome Impressionistic exhibit--you didn't mention it. id you see it yet? Don't miss it if you can get your eyes off that beautiful ceiling!
