One of the many photos that I took from the Pont de la Concorde! I'm just never tired of this view, even if I've seen it a zillion times... And we're having such a nice weather in Paris at the moment... (It won't last, I'm sure!). It made me think of a Claire-obscure (Chiaroscuro).
What a glorious scene!
ReplyDeleteDo you really still have leafs on the trees or is it not so actual photo?
ReplyDeleteIn fact Photo Riga, I just flew back from Germany yesterday where most of the leaves are off, and was surprised myself that I still saw leaves here in Paris. That's good news in my book :-)
DeleteWe still have leaves on some trees, I don't know why exactly.
DeleteWe also have leaves... But the white ones ;)

So beautiful, Eric! This is a calendar shot for sure. I love the chiaroscuro in your shot and the light in Paris in general
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous, Eric.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Japan's old rising sun flag. Great shot !
ReplyDeleteYes you're right Stuart!
DeleteI really love this shot Eric. Your new photos are really taking off.
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious shot (and view)!
Gorgeous view, but the way you managed to capture the crepuscular rays makes it even more spectacular!
ReplyDeleteReally stunning!
ReplyDeleteOne word for this picture - STUNNING!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIn this light, Madame ET looks so delicate, almost as if she is wearing a black lace negligee.......
ReplyDeleteHey, we both have a shot of the ET and the sun today—great minds, etc. Yours, I must say, is beyond beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone, when I think I hesitated to post this photo for I thought it was too "classical"!
ReplyDeleteI'm late to comment, but I agree with the others -- this is an amazing photo!
