Chiaroscuro

One of the many photos that I took from the Pont de la Concorde! I'm just never tired of this view, even if I've seen it a zillion times... And we're having such a nice weather in Paris at the moment... (It won't last, I'm sure!). It made me think of a Claire-obscure (Chiaroscuro).

  1. Do you really still have leafs on the trees or is it not so actual photo?

    1. In fact Photo Riga, I just flew back from Germany yesterday where most of the leaves are off, and was surprised myself that I still saw leaves here in Paris. That's good news in my book :-)

    2. We still have leaves on some trees, I don't know why exactly.

  2. So beautiful, Eric! This is a calendar shot for sure. I love the chiaroscuro in your shot and the light in Paris in general

  6. Gorgeous view, but the way you managed to capture the crepuscular rays makes it even more spectacular!

  8. In this light, Madame ET looks so delicate, almost as if she is wearing a black lace negligee.......

  9. Hey, we both have a shot of the ET and the sun today—great minds, etc. Yours, I must say, is beyond beautiful!

  10. Thank you everyone, when I think I hesitated to post this photo for I thought it was too "classical"!
