Sunrise on the Tour Saint Jacques

The Tour Saint Jacques is a Paris landmark I often posted on PDP. When I started this blog it was closed, then under repair, then it reopened and now it's fully "operational". Like I already said, this tower is all what remains of the Saint-Jacques-de-la-Boucherie ("Saint James of the butchery") church, which was leveled after the French Revolution. But the most interesting part, if you're a visitor is to visit it and enjoy a view that most Parisians are not even aware of! Check this.

  1. Thank you, Eric for continuing the daily posts. A little Paris with my morning coffee makes my day brighter. Undoubtedly, you also have your hands full as you begin to settle in beautiful Malta. Hope you make time to enjoy your new surroundings and great weather! Regards from Vera in New Jersey.

    1. Thank you for thanking me Vera! For now I don't have much time as I have to organize my new home (a lot of red tape, of course!), and I don't think I will commit myself to a new daily posting blog to be honest...

  2. Merci! I love the Tour Saint Jacques. It's a nice slide show at the end of the linked story. Great views. I definitely want to climb those steps. -Jeff

  5. "Paris Daily Photo" has been included in our A Sunday Drive for this week. Be assured that we hope this helps to point even more new visitors in your direction.
