Resting in the grass

What to do on a summer Saturday in Paris? Rest on the grass of course... It is not always allowed (because the grass also needs to rest from time to time...) but it most gardens it is now permitted (I also took this photo at Parc Monceau like yesterday). FYI, here is the gardens and parks of Paris portal (only in French, unfortunately).

  1. I wish I could do this in India! Two reasons I can't do this -
    1. Alcohol consumption in public places is not allowed, anywhere in India.
    2. This time of the year, my city New Delhi, is very humid and hot most of the time... or it's raining...

  4. Nice lazy moment. Didn't laze in the grass, but tonight walked along the Mississippi River and stood next to St. Anthony Falls, just watched the river flow.

  5. Those are some nice knees you've captured there, Eric!
And thanks for the link. In my local Brooklyn park (Prospect), there is no area that's ever off limits—I'd like to see them try in Brooklyn. :~} This photo just says "summertime."

  7. Summer-delicious-time... Hey you! Let the grass have a little rest :) But just a little!
What about standing up and walking now hand by hand ?
In the streets, on the grass or on the beach from where I am writing this right now with a lovely light grey sky letting the sun go slightly through. The sun is even becoming luminuous while I'm doing ...
