Best 2010 photo

Every year, when I turn back to my 365 photos, a few memories come to my mind: "this one I took on this very cold morning" or "for this one, I've been really lucky to be in the neighborhood"... so I like some of my shots for more than aesthetical reasons! Which makes it hard to choose the "best photo of the year". So this year I chose a pretty consensual shot, for I think many of you liked it. Let me wish you all a wonderful year, full of joy and happiness. That's what we all need (and yes, a booming economy too!).

  16. New Year wouldn't be the same if I didn't drop by to see what you've posted. This photo is so fabulous on many levels. I love the CDP photos that are truly situated in their given city.

Could this be anywhere other than Paris?

  17. Yes, I would have to agree wholeheartedly! This is one of your best ever, and that is saying a LOT! Each New Year's I wonder if this is the year that I finally get to visit my dear Eiffel Tower. Maybe, maybe not, but thank you for helping keeping that dream alive and well. :) I hope that you have a wonderful 2011,Eric. Bonne Annee, Merci Beaucoup, and Bisous!

  18. Great shot. I came upon this bridge on my last visit to Paris. I couldn't believe what I found on the railing - a man's gold wedding ring! Was he widowed, divorced? Why would he remove it and leave it on a bridge? Questions that will never be answered. Je vous souhaite une excellente année 2011!
