I know this photo is pretty similar to the one I took about 2 weeks ago, but it's very appropriate. The weather forecasts leave no doubt: today it's going to rain! I took this photo from the balcony of the Swiss Bank, located on the Place Vendôme, where I had a gathering with one of my geek clubs (th
e Internet Manager Club!). Quite interesting actually and a super location to take photos...
Oh, but it's like a dream, Eric. Post all of this type of photo you want.
ReplyDeleteIt is exquisite Eric. I love the iron detail and ohhhhh the shadows with the parapluies is just parfait. I love this one. Save for the next calendar.........svp.

At first, I thought it was an eye winking! :) Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteWith the umbrellas, it's perfect—absolutely says "Paris in the rain." Here in NYC, we were supposed to get 6 to 8 inches of snow but wound up with 18 (46 cm.)!
ReplyDeletemerci pour la photo, j'adore Paris and la langue de Francais, je suis apprendrant Francais and c'est genial a voir quel vie en France est comme!
ReplyDeleteMerci encoure!
It is a crazy year for weather. More rain in Paris after unusual snow in past weeks, like London. This is bizarre everywhere. El Nina is creating excessive precipitation in the Midwest U.S. also. New York and the Eastern U.S. just got whacked again with heavy snow. And the worst may have been in Pakistan. Yikes.
ReplyDeleteAnd let's not forget Australia Jeff...
ReplyDeleteNice picture, a bit of Dutch weather!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Not similar to the other one at all, really.

ReplyDeleteYou won't hear me complaining. It is a brilliant shot and I love it!
ReplyDeletePS, I watch Cléo From 5 to 7 last night and wanted to much to step into the 1960s streets of Paris that were passing by on the screen. So, you are carrying on the Newest Wave of film (well, digital, and not quite cinema, but our addiction, none the less). :-)
