Free-zing!

The cold is back again... Of course in January it's pretty normal, but since we already had a cold wave in December - which is rather unusual - I was hoping January would leave us alone! Anyway, I thought this photo was and excellent illustration of winter. I took it avenue Monceau where they have a huge air grating, probably leading to the Metro. It's much less sexy than Marylin Monroe's famous photo, but that is all I could find in the middle of winter!

  1. It might be even more sexy. Is it a fig leaf? ;-)

    Stay warm!

  3. Cold? Seriously? Hm: -3 C in Paris right now, and it is -7 C here. I don't have a great amount of sympathy, mes amis! But, stay warm anyway.

  4. I'm blowing San Francisco sunshine your way. At the moment, the sun is setting over the Pacific Ocean -- very bright with blue skys. But you never know what tomorrow will bring.

I just adore your photo Eric!

  7. But the wind chill makes it feel like -10°C (and there's more snow on the way). Hope that makes you feel a bit warmer!

  8. I can't feel too bad when the high here today is supposed to reach -8C! (I'm just glad you can see the leaves, all we can see is snow, snow, snow.) I hope you stay warm though and have a wonderful day! :)

A leaf in a grid.Does life stem from an interconnecting maze of choices and pathways or do we just choose to look at the brighter side of life?
You've created more here this time and all on your stomach, non?
    Best Wishes, Therese
