The secret to living longer...

If you left your heart in Paris, well don't worry, the Federation française de cardiologie (the French Cardiology Federation) can probably do something for you LOL. Hence this exhibition that they organized this weekend in front of l'Hôtel de ville (town hall) to raise awareness on heart disease in France. No secret recipe here; they promote exercise (check the Tai Chi lesson on the Making of!), a low cholesterol diet, no smoking... Again, it's not the most glamorous photo of PDP (although if you look carefully you'll see Notre Dame in the background!), but I thought this was "very French" ;-)

  1. I'm following all their guidelines already, but of course I'd love to leave my heart in the care of the French permanently! Working on it.

  3. Well seen!!! That's where I have to go to since my doctor found my heart was beating too fast last time.... I told him that was my nature and that there was nothing to worry about but he did not believe me and order me to go to a cardilogist! I'm still reluctant with doctors. How is going your heart Eric ? :)
Btw yesterday I took advantage to the beautiful weather and rode a bike. That can't be all wrong !

  4. Well, at least I don't smoke and I get my daily dose of Paris on PDP thanks to you!

I'm with Alexa: would love, love, love to leave my heart in the care of the French permanently. Or perhaps I already have? ;-)

  5. Well, I'm good as far as their recommendations go, hopefully my heart is healthy! I exercise, try to eat a healthy diet, and I think smoking is so stinky.

    Healthy hearts everyone! :)

  6. That would make a great marketing campaign for the French Cardiology Federation, Eric! I've not learned any Tai Chi yet, but would be happy to do a little yoga in a park in Paris, for sure.

  7. Oh, I need them, because I left my heart in Paris for sure. Maybe they can brign it back and my heart wouldn't hurt when it's out of Paris.
