Sunset over Paris

It's been a while since I've shown you our dear old iron lady... I happened to cross the Seine yesterday around 6 pm and here is what I saw. Need I say more?

  1. When the sun sets here in Arizona, I will think of this picture and how it touched the Eiffel Tower....and me!

  2. Great picture Eric! It's just what I need to brighten my day while slaving over tax returns!

  3. Just in case, I'll go ahead and speak for our Suzy:
    ET! ET!! ET!!! And maybe this is my reward for having already slaved over (and finished) my tax returns. :~}
    No, you don't need to say any more, Eric!

  4. I golden sky, a gorgeous sun, and the Eiffel Tower. What more could a gal of French descent want to see on a Thussday night just before falling asleep Happy dreams will surely follow.

  5. In a very weird way, this reminded my of the sky we had during the "station fire" in SoCal.
    Gorgeous photo, that ET Suzy would appreciate.

  7. Such a comforting picture- it's like saying: the Eiffel Tower is still there, elegant as always, the sun is setting at the same place as always; so nothing can go wrong...

  8. Yeah, we had a sunny day in Paris at last! I was out photographing in the 5th and it was great to have some sunshine to do it to. I saw the other end of the day, by the way, getting blinded by a sunrise drive into the city. Is spring here, do you think?

  9. I kept looking for Suzy's post, but since she hasn't yet, I will post this in her honor:

    Eiffel Tower!
    Eiffel Tower!!
    Eiffel Tower!!!

    How absolutely gorgeous!! I could gush for paragraphs, but I think that explains it as fully as it can be explained. Merci and enjoy your Spring!
