From Paris with love

Yesterday took place the last PDP picnic and despite the threatening weather (it poured in the morning!) we managed pretty well. The thing is that I started the PDP picnic series in 2006 because of Jeff (with the blue jacket on the left) - I did not know him at that time - and ever since I always organized them around his Paris visits (I'm working on a PDP book at the moment and I'll have the occasion to disclose more info about these picnics). This year again we had a wonderful time, I met great new people (people who follow PDP, but never comment) and reconnected with older ones. It almost did not rain...  ;-) BTW, what do you think about the true Frenchman with the beret?! ;-)

  1. How lovely! It was a beautiful day here in the States as well, Mother's Day was the best ever for my family. Will there be a video soonish? And will the Picnic live on even after the PDP fades away?

    1. No Christie, no video this year, I was too lazy! I don't think I'll continue when PDP stops...

  5. It is always such a nice gathering with old fans and new fans of yours stopping by. I think you may need to have a second picnic though this year when others pass through Paris. What do you think Eric?

  8. Great photo Eric! Will you still have these picnics once you stop PDP? I usually make it to Paris once or twice per year and would love to attend. Regards from New York!

  9. Mai and I had a super time, despite the weather, thanks to you Eric for organising it, I know the weather forecasts made it very difficult!
Yes Michael is now more French than the French, as with all converts. :-)
BTW it's raining in Paris again today, but who cares?

  11. So I should have been coordinating my travel schedule with Jeff all these years? NOW, I find out the secret. Anyway, sorry to have missed it (again) as we were on "vacation".
