It looks like rain!

We've really been lucky for the picnic as, since yesterday evening, it's been raining like crazy in Paris! Photowise it's not that bad, for all these black clouds offer nice reflections and dramatic skies ;-) Anyway... Like you probably guessed I took this photo at the Très Grande Bibliothèque in the 13th arrondissement.

  3. Belle photo. On est pris. Entre les sillons du bois et la modernité des bâtiments sur les côtés. Chacun sur sa route vers la perspective qui se déroule au fur et à mesure que l'on avance. C'est comme marcher sur un tapis roulant.

  4. Addendum : c'est presque comme marcher sur un tapis roulant qui va en sens inverse. Je ne sais pas pourquoi c'est ce que ça me renvoie comme impression mais c'est une image spontanée! Ce n'est pas le fruit d'une cogitation intense! Belle image.

  5. Nous avons pris le dejeuner au cafe dans Le Maris. Ce matin il y avait du soleil mais maintenant, il pleut encore!
    Nous allons retourner en Angleterre ce soir. Au revoir Paris!

    I could have joined you last Sunday and spoken with you in French at the picnic ! Yes it could have been a great opportunity to meet.
    I have an idea Eric for the next picnic (I am sure there will be one more : this is compulsory, don't think about it !!) : let imagine that, like Drummond, all your Francophile followers would do their best to speak in ... French, at the next picnic ! Yes !! I heard that speaking in French was, currently, quite "very chic" in the US at the moment !
