This is a typical Paris zebra crossing - that is a recent one, for when I was young we had Passage Cloutés - literally "nailed pathways" that is pedestrian crossings bordered by big nails hammered into the cobblestones. Anyway... I thought this was funny because someone used one of the stripes to write a pretty poetic sentence: "look at the sky!"
Looking to the sky whilst crossing the street could lead to accidents!
ReplyDeleteLOL. This is very well seen !... Again, this is a great sense of the observation.
DeleteLove it ! Looking at the sky is something I need to do each day but it doesn't last long enough... And it does matter ! ...
Could the Passage Cloutés have been there in 1971? I seem to remember them.
ReplyDeleteYes definitely in 73 Petrea. You still can find a few in Paris I'm sure. I'm gonna hunt for one!
DeleteYou may be right Eric !
DeleteI still haven't but I think it is possible to find a few ! That's interesting, I'll have to look for them like a kind of challenge-game ! I'd send you a picture if I saw one quite quickly ! Not obvious that said !
Please do, I'm curious to know if there are any left.
DeleteSexy legs!
