When the sun goes down on Paris...

I was coming home a little late yesterday evening (around 9 pm), while the sun was going down on Paris. I could see it in the mirrors of my scooter and I was thinking to myself: "I must stop and take a photo, the light must be beautiful!". So I did... and I don't regret it! FYI, the opera house (Garnier) is at the end of this street.

  1. Just the right moment to take it. Five more minutes and you might have lost the light.

  2. Yes, when you see that light you've got to take the shot.

  4. Eric, your last three photos give me the feeling of you as a photographer-witness of the city. Maybe more than usually. You show and we can take. You framed it and we can focus. Yesterday at the same time, I was in my car and had the sun going down in full, right in front of me. Beautiful and dazzling as well ! It is harder to drive at the moment but it is always an amazing sight.

  6. An experienced photographer once told me when you see a great sky, start looking for a good place to get off and take a photo. You did just that. Good shot.

  8. The famous Tenin Perspective at its finest - so long as you can get out of the way before that oncoming vehicle gets too close!

  9. I bet by now you can stop your scooter, get down low and snap a masterpiece, and be off again in no time flat!
