PDP belated anniversary

Shame on me! I forgot to wish PDP a happy 6th anniversary, can you believe it?! I don't know why I had March 19 in mind, so I was not too worried about finding the perfect photo. And if it weren't for some of my very observant visitors (hey Monica!) I would have totally forgotten it. That's what happens after 6 years of daily posting, it's become like brushing my teeth or getting dressed in the morning, a habit! A nice habit though ;-) Big kiss to everyone from Paris and let me offer you this sunset view of the Metro taken from the rue Saint Saëns in the 15th arrondissement.

  4. Congratulations, Eric. And thank you for starting this all. Many bloggers and photographers around the world are now enjoying their own blogs and visiting those of friends found through CDP.

  5. Hey, if Monica says it then it must be so! ;-) Happy 6th Anniversary Eric and may you have just as many more. I've been away for some time (business), and I don't always comment, but I try my best to stop when I'm surfing netty. I admire what you've done with PDP and also admire you as a person. I am glad to have been one of those along for this successful ride. Be well my friend and CHEERS to you and your camera!

  9. I loooove the subtle colors in this shot! Have said it before, but it bears repeating: Your eye just gets better all the time. And merci mille fois for keeping this up!
(Good to see Coltrane here too—one of the very first of many friends I've met through PDP.)

  11. Sorry I'm late. PDP shares its birthday with my departed father. (Another good creator/monster metaphor, Drummond!)

    Bonne Anniversaire PDP.

Now: start planning your 6th annual picnic! Obey!!

  13. Happy anniversary dear unique and valuable PDP !!!
Just unbelievable : 365*6 posts = 2.190 (+ 1 for each leap year!!!), which means at least three times more pics (at least!)... which means unforgettable pictures as well as unforgettable discoveries and pleasures for myself.
Be sure that this unique piece of art you started 6 years ago is alive for ever through all the pictures now but needs you so much for each day that comes to live ;-) as you well know :-)

  16. Joyeux Anniversaire PDP/Eric.

I LOVE this photo. This is "my quartier" when I'm in Paris. The apartment I sometimes borrowes is just right down the street from here.

Do you mind if I "steal" this photo ?

Now about the picnic.. OK, OK... I have so much going on in my mind at the moment that I have had very little time to ficus on this "major" event LOL!

It'll take place during the second half of May for sure, most likely during the last week of May...
