Paris market
It's Sunday, time to go to the market... There's nothing like Fresh vegetable and fruit, and we are pretty lucky in Paris for there is always a market near a place we live.I already mentioned it, but I'll say in again, in case you come to Paris and are desperate for food(!), there are 82 food markets in Paris (including 3 organic ones) - you can have the whole list, day by day here. Or course, they less fun than this one...

Awwww... Lovely shot. But where are the tomatoes? ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, my! Your link to the "fun market" is just down the road, so to speak. Portsmouth is just an hour south from my home in central NH. If you ever visit NH, see the Lakes Region (my turf), and don't miss Portsmouth, a lovely town near the ocean.
ReplyDeleteAh, spring!
ReplyDeleteAh, spring!
ReplyDeleteLooks good to me!
ReplyDeleteArtichokes and oranges and beans—oh my! Délicieux, mon vieux, and thanks for the links. :~} So is this your local market?

ReplyDeleteWhat enormous artichokes! Those are just lovely. What a great market you have there, alas, here we have farmer's markets twice a week but it is 10 miles away, so I don't often go. But this year I'm part of a community garden that I'll work in and receive some fresh veggies that way. Looking forward to it!
ReplyDeletei'd eat whole this market lol :)
ReplyDeleteThe artichokes are perfect. Markets are like candy stores for photographers.
ReplyDeleteI love the markets - they are amazing! I love the selection, atmosphere and delicious food. Thanks for sharing your photos.
ReplyDeleteCheers!

My first thought, with all the round shapes and the gorgeous mix of color, was that this was a bouquet (its Mother's Day here in the US). Cornucopia? Bouquet? Either way -- its beautiful!! I can almost smell all these perfect looking, wonderful fruits and veggies. Merci, merci! Spring has sprung. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat kitchen photo Eric! I have several of your "food" photos in my kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI too am going to the Market today, Sunday. The San Francisco Farmer's outdoor Market at the Ferry Building plaza. It is close to where I live.
I like radishes the best not really sure what to do with an artichoke . Love the markets .
ReplyDeleteArtichokes!

Artichokes!!!
What can I say? I love artichokes.
The photo is superb. To make a clean breast of it, I'd say these two artichokes are well appetizing ;~)
ReplyDeleteBtw, I was dazed by the previous post that resounded with strenght in me...
This photo reminds me of my first trip to France a gazillion years ago. I was amazed by how perfect the fruit looked and how huge the artichokes were. Still are, I see.
ReplyDeleteI love the Paris markets!
