I spent the whole day in Trouville today (no, not to prepare
the G8 summit! but to sort out some personal matters), and on the way back I passed by the
Champs Elysées where the sun was slightly going down. It was one of those days where I feel really happy to live in Paris. Silly? Yeah, a little bit, but I'm sure that a lot of you - Paris lovers - would have liked to be in my shoes ;-).
Wonderful. I think I'd like being in your shoes pretty often !

Yes, absolutely gorgeous and this is the type of day that all "Paris Lovers" dream of, but I will take Paris any day of the year, rain or shine!...as long as I don't have to deal with a strike to get to work!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteA day like that would make anyone a Parisian. Nice picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful shot, Eric! I guess we're all grateful to be able to step into your sabots for at least a few minutes every day—I know I am. :~}
ReplyDeleteNothing silly about living near the Champs my good man! Beautiful capture, too. As for Trouville, what a beautiful part of France to skip on over to. The beach scene there looks quite attractive.

ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful day in Paris, and I am in your shoes, well, so to speak, I just arrived today, right now looking out my window at Le Pick-Clops cafe in Le Marais and I am thrilled. If I ever see you sitting there with a tiny cup of coffee I will pop over and say hi.
ReplyDeleteAnd how do you order a tiny cup of coffee? I have so much to learn this month!

Ahhh, it does bring back memories. I strolled it back in March, weather wasn't ideal..but glad to be there all the same.
ReplyDeleteOoh, la, la! I don't think your shoes would fit, but I would try them anyway!! :) You are very definitely blessed to live where you do, and I'm glad that you share such loveliness with all of us. Thank you, Eric.
