Paris bloggers Meetup

Two evenings ago, I attended a Paris blogger meet up, organized by ParisParis.in. About a hundred "Paris lover" bloggers were there and it was fun. It took place at La Bonne Franquette, a non too touristy Montmartre 400 year old restaurant - I had Boeuf Bourguignon, as some of you who follow me on Facebook may have already seen ;-) During the evening, a young woman showed me a photo a photographer took of her. Stunning! I wish I had taken it.

  1. It sounds like great fun! I love that picture - it looks like a vintage photo, I was surprised to hear it was a recent one.

  5. You may wish you had taken the photo, but I wish I had taken her! Vavoom! (Did I just say that?)

  6. "La Bonne Franquette" ? C'est vrai, pas trop touristique ? Vu le coin, j'ai toujours fait un grand détour. Tu recommandes ?

  7. Ahhh the girls' legs!!!!!!!!
    LOL Jeff!!!
    This photo (inside the IPhone), was taken from the romantico-glamourouso part of Paris I was speaking of in my comment yesterday! Not far.
    When you happen to wear such clothes, all the job is done both for the woman and for the photographer, isn't it? Aaaah the girls with a dress.... nice nice nice (well if I was a man, that's what I'd think! Even as a girl!)
    Was she wearing the same dress at the bloggers meetup? That IS the question ;)

  8. That dress is amazing and the photo is stunning. I can see why you would want to have taken it! I do too. Now you just have to meet someone who has an interesting wardrobe, Eric, then you can have them model for you! :)

  9. You do get around, Eric—but of course where "Paris lover" blogs are concerned, I hope the other 99 thanked you for the inspiration! As for the young woman, she should be proud of this photo—it's not easy to upstage the ET. :~}

  10. Oh my there IS something to be jealous of! ... Lucky you!

    She showed you that picture only in order to have her blog link on PDP?!! Yes. Why noooot ?! Well i do understand her : PDP is very popular!! And what else ? ;)

  11. I never know from one day to the next what I really believe in ... BUT when I see how many people are OBSESSED with Paris, it really makes me believe in reincarnation:) How else to explain why so many of us are Paris lovers? Really, does any other city in the world have such an effect on people?!! I love starting my day reading your blog, Eric, but ... I may have to check out some of those other Paris blogs, too. I won't be jealous of the girl if you won't be jealous of the other bloggers!ha!!:)

  12. I love your picture...! So much, I'd like to be right now in front of the Eiffel Tower, for real ... ha !
    Congratulations Eric, Blogger is not bad as a life... :)
    Now, apart from this appetizing photo (let's say - at least !), Paris is not always loved as much as the Paris lovers I'm so happy to meet here! That makes THE difference, difference that Eric is the best keeper. I don't like saying things like that because sometimes once you've said them, they lose all value and disappear. I love the way you nicely blackmail Eric, Trishia! ... There's no place for jealousy in my life when I love but we never know... Trust counts. I surely come from a naive kind but I assume it more or less ;)
