Let's start the week with a classic view, a
bateau mouche under the
Pont Neuf. Not very original, but always enjoyable. I took this photo around 8 pm, while the sun was on its way to the US! As you can see it's been a beautiful day today - very hot too. Have a nice Monday everyone, wherever you are in the world.
Ah - beautiful as ever! I was on one of these last November with a scarf wrapped all the way around my nose & mouth - that's how cold it was, but still well worth it!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful, calm and serene.

I love all of your photos this week, Eric.
ReplyDeleteI like to take a ride on these at least 3 times a year....In Spring, Summer & Fall (yes, Fall sometimes with a scarf like Monnica!) We never tire of your beautiful photographs, Eric!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! It's cold, wet and windy here but spring is just around the corner. I can smell jasmine in the air. Happy Monday to you, Eric.
ReplyDeleteLast night we had our first touch of fall weather. I am not ready for it! But for now, I will enjoy the rest of the summer we have and enjoy your beautiful pictures of Paris. We have many boats on the numerous lakes around here, but none so interesting as the bateau mouche! :)
ReplyDeleteThe sun is just arriving in Austin, TX as I view your wonderful photo on this, soon to be very hot, Monday morning. I've continued to enjoy your daily photos and have such good memories of the PDP picnic last May that I attended with my brother, so nice to meet your and all the other PDP friends! Perhaps I can attend again next year. Thanks again for your photos, they always keep Paris on my mind and my next trip just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteWell, my favorite bridge (I'm not original) thanks a lot. Wonderful to start the week.
ReplyDeleteA plentiful week to you.
I recommend the Batoux Mouches to anyone in Paris. I've only experienced them in the evening and night, with the City of Lights shining.
ReplyDeleteWe had absolutely gorgeous weather last week and over the weekend here in Minneapolis. Warm and sunny, but dry. It was prediected to be very hot today, but it looks like it will continue to be nice and comfortable. Unfortunately, I'll be inside all day.
Eric, Eric! The sun doesn't go to the US! No you see the earth revolves around it's own axis and then in turn revolves around the sun and all the other planets ........ Oh Okay, the sun was on its way to the US!
ReplyDeleteA lovely shot and it is good to see the sun shine in Paris, any time of year!
