More rain

I swear, I took this photo yesterday (Wednesday, on the Pont Royal, the one that leads to the Louvre) and not last November LOL! Not that I complain , I actually like the blurry effect of the drops on the lens ;-) Besides I have a lot of work on my plate, so I don't care too much about the weather... Anyway, just FYi Paris Plage opens today, I don't think it'll be too crowded ;-) I just feel really sorry for the tourists (I hear museums are full...).

  3. Eric, this looks like a vintage photo - not like you took it yesterday! I've been to Paris plenty of times when its raining, and I still love every minute of it and have a great time, so I wouldn't worry so much about the tourists :)

  4. Ah it is much like Portland, OR-USA right now. Beautiful, vintage looking picture. Love it.

  5. Your b&w catches the mood just right! I've been in Paris in July when it was cold and wet. What's the deal with that? Hope the weather turns real soon—especially with Paris Plage opening today.

  6. I love your photo, Eric...and I love Paris in the rain! Give me a cafe with a view to people-watching and some nice coffee or wine...and I am in heaven on my covered terrace! (^_^)

  7. Usually we have 38-40 degrees these days. Today we have 12 degrees, rainy, extremely windy... typical November rain as well.
    I share your rainy mood.

  9. You may be in the midst of cold and rain, but we are in the midst of hot and humid, with highs in the 90's this week. I hope this heat flits across the Atlantic for you and warms up Paris! :)

    Enjoy the Paris Plage!

  10. You'll never get a job with the Office of Tourism Eric.
It could be worse for this cyclist - they are expecting SNOW on one of the climbs on the Tour de France today.
Still, no problem getting a nice spot on the Paris Plage.
Vreni, it is supposed to be warmer next week, so pack your bikini along with your raincoat. :)
