Snake trains!

I "ventured" to the very eastern part of Paris yesterday morning and found myself in the middle of giant works (they are installing an extension to the tramway that I already showed several times here). Then I passed on a bridge (le pont National) over railway tracks (coming from Gare de Lyon) and found all these TGVs (bullet trains), waiting for God knows what (the yellow one belongs to the postal services and the other ones are just normal passenger trains). I thought it would make a cool photo - and it does, in a way ;-)

  1. They don't look like they are waiting, they look like they are in motion. I guess it is the way you shot it. Kudos to you!

  3. Makes a great image, the blue and yellow are always a good combination and the perspective is excellent and it does look like the trains are moving.

  9. The Pont National always makes me feel uneasy. It's in a kind of wilderland and if you head north you can find yourself in a really weird area with some seriously dodgy characters if you're not careful. Some of them are clutching cameras.. ;~S

  10. As long as there are no snakes ON the train, I'm good. Those creatures are the things I'm most frightened of in the world. *shudder* But I love the trains! They are colorful and fun, and just imagine the places you can go.

    LOL Jeff and Sab!
